La maison CED & ROD

THE ART OF CRAFTSMANSHIP

Every CED & ROD creation begins in Saint Barthélemy, where the light, the landscape, and

a way of life shape each design before the first sketch is made. It is then entrusted to the finest

European artisans, who give it form.

At CED & ROD, every collection begins long before the first sketch.

It begins with the men and women who preserve extraordinary skills, often passed down through generations, in workshops scattered across Italy, France and England.

We believe true luxury is not created by machines. It is created by hands.

For this reason, we work exclusively with a select group of artisans and ateliers

whose expertise represents some of the finest craftsmanship still found in Europe today.

Our silks are woven in Italy by historic mills near Lake Como, where generations of textile makers continue to produce fabrics renowned for their beauty, fluidity and exceptional quality.

Our lace comes from the historic weaving houses of France, where traditional techniques remain unchanged and where each pattern reflects centuries of savoir-faire.

Our tweeds are sourced from England, from workshops whose fabrics have dressed some of the most celebrated women of the last century.

Our feathers are prepared by specialized Italian artisans in Tuscany, preserving techniques that have become increasingly rare in modern fashion.

Every button, every embroidery, every finish is selected with the same care.

Not because it is visible.

But because excellence often resides in what only the wearer will ever know.

We are privileged to work alongside artisans whose knowledge cannot be replicated.

Their knowledge, patience and dedication are an essential part of every CED & ROD creation.
