At CED & ROD, sur-mesure is not a service. It is the founding principle of everything we do. Every evening gown, every occasion dress, every piece created for the moments that matter — begins with you, and ends with something that could never have existed without you.

03 — THE OCCASIONS WE DRESS

Evening galas. Charity events. Private celebrations. Cocktail receptions. Black tie dinners. The opening night. The reunion. The moment you have been thinking about for months.

We dress women — and men — for the occasions that deserve more than a purchase. For the evenings where the garment must rise to the weight of the moment.

If the event matters, the creation should too.

04 — THE PROCESS

The Consultation We begin with a conversation — in our Gustavia atelier, or wherever you are. We listen to the occasion, the silhouette, the feeling you want to carry into the room. No sketches yet. No decisions. Only listening.

The Creation From that conversation, Cédric draws. A silhouette emerges — your silhouette. We select the fabrics together: silks from Como, tweeds from Linton, lace from Calais, feathers from Galeotti in Tuscany. The piece is then built by hand in our Calabrian atelier, by couturières trained in the Versace tradition.

The Fittings Multiple fittings. In Saint-Barth, or we travel to you. The garment is adjusted until it belongs entirely to your body. Not approximately. Exactly.

05 — THE CLOTH, THE FEATHER, THE THREAD

Every sur-mesure commission draws from the same sources that define our maison.

Silks from Taroni, Clerici, Gentile Mosconi on Lake Como. Tweeds from Linton in England. Lace from Renard Grière in France. Featherwork from Galeotti in Tuscany. Engraved mother-of-pearl buttons, cut by hand.

The materials are never chosen for convenience. They are chosen because nothing else would do.
